…to UT!
In mid-April there were a great few days of celebrating hard work with Ring Week at the good ol’ University of Texas. Lots of burnt orange, photo taking, and feasting at delicious restaurants! As I emailed a few of these pictures to out-to-town family members, I couldn’t help but put a few together to share.
Before we received our class rings in Austin, Eric and I made the short journey to A&M to support his sister, Laura, for her big moment. Even though we had to helplessly circle the campus a few times to find the right spot (thanks a lot Siri…), it was lots of fun!
Eric’s ceremony came the first day of Ring Week. You guys, this young man is the biggest UT fan I know, so you can only imagine his excitement. After lots of pics with the fam, we indulged in some delicious Ironworks BBQ downtown.
A couple days later, my beautiful roommate, Somer, and I finally got our turns. It was so wonderful to have some family come in to town to celebrate – we are lucky girls! We were especially excited at the opportunity to get a little fancy, since the chaos of school and work doesn’t allow much time for curls and new dresses.
Afterwards, we headed on over to Matt’s El Rancho, one of my favorite Mexican places here in ATX. If you like delicious chips the size of your face and margaritas that are on point, wander on over there and you want be disappointed.
In conclusion, UT finally put a ring on it and we are a happy bunch!
