Breakfast Bliss

One thing that can easily be discovered about me is my obsession with breakfast. Pancakes at any time of day are a win in my book! It had been awhile since there had been time for a breakfast outing, so when the opportunity presented itself a couple Saturdays ago, Eric and I took it and ran…well drove…straight to Freddie’s!

If you haven’t made it over to this South-Central Austin gem, now is the time. Freddie’s Place serves delicious American comfort food, including one heck of a breakfast menu. The outdoor seating is one of my favorite restaurant layouts in town. There’s a stage for live music on weekend evenings, a playground for kiddos, giant oak trees, and my favorite part – lots of adorable dogs enjoying the laid back vibes.

After lots of back and forth, Eric decided on Eggs Freddiedict and I went with the All-American, and a side of fluffy cakes of course! We got to munch on complimentary blueberry muffins and play UNO while we waited. That’s another cool perk at Freddie’s – a selection of fun games to play while you pass the (short wait) time.

It probably goes without saying, but we left stuffed and happy. Thankful for the breakfast and beautiful weather that made for the perfect start to a Saturday! Have any good brunch places to suggest?? I want to hear!
